Buck's Steak with Chipotle-Lime Chimichurri

:A delicious and simple recipe for any meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 boneless beef top sirloin steak (1 inch thick and about 1-1/4 pounds)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Bald Buck Seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley leaves
  • 2 green onions, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 chipotle pepper in adobo sauce
  • 1 tablespoon adobo sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves, halved
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice

Instructions:

  • Prepare the Steak: Sprinkle steak with Bald Buck Seasoning and pepper. Grill, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 inches from heat for 8-10 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 135°F; medium, 140°F; medium-well, 145°F).
  • Make the Chimichurri: Meanwhile, place remaining ingredients in a food processor; process until finely chopped.
  • Serve: Let the steak stand for 5 minutes. Cut steak into slices; serve with the chimichurri sauce.
